I ran through the woods as faster as I can. As much as my legs could take me. I could feel them caching upon me. My heartbeats increased as I felt them closer to me. My screams echoed through the woods as they chased me. I know if they caught me, I will not live. I dont even know if my parents will be able to save me in time.

I stumbled as I did not see a small ditch. My leg got stuck on the edge. It tried to pull it away. Tears ran down my cheeks as I turned around only to see them surrounding me.

Aww He looks helpless they laughed at my expense.

It is my inability that has landed me in this situation.

I am not helpless I spit at their leader. That angered him. I did not see it coming as he jumped on me.

Ahh I woke up startled.

I looked around the dimly room and realised that I am in my room. The familiar walls helped me calm down my heart which was beating like crazy.

Wiping the sweat of my face, I pushed the covers away and walked towards the ensuite. Splashing some cold water on my face, I stared at myself through the mirror. Those silver orbs staring right back at me. I had got it from my mom. I remember the days when I did not have to worry about anything but now everything has changed. It has been years. Decades in fact since I last went back to my home.

Here I am today in my thirties. No one can hurt me. I have built this empire and I am proud to be where I am today, feared by everyone. No one dares to cross paths with me. I am the cold-blooded Mafia in Italy.

I heard the ringing of my cellphone and walked out. Checking it, I saw that it was my second in my command Marco.

We have got him spoke a hard voice. I clenched the phone tightly in my hand and took a deep breath.

I am coming was all I said before I hang up. Not long ago I was ready. Something must have gone awry because his voice sounded strained. Looks like I am not going to like it either. This man is going to be dead when I get my hands on him.

I stalked out of my room. This man dared to evade me and cheat me. Anger vibrated through me as I walked down the hallway. My brows furrowed as I saw my men gossiping being on duty.

What the hell is going on here? I snapped in my hard tone.

The guard looked in his mid-twenties.

Alpha he stuttered as he bowed down to me. I narrowed my eyes in slits.

I pulled his collar You dare gossip on duty hours I muttered. My voice came out dark.

Alpha we are sorry, said the other guard. The one whom I had caught, looked ready to piss in his pants. I left him and turned to the other guard.

I was about to snap at him for making excuses when the main head of the guards came running towards me.

What is this, Seth? I snapped at him.

I am sorry Alpha. They were hired just yesterday. I will inform them about the duties and rules of the mansion right away he says as he bowed to me.

See to it right away. I dont want lazy people who are not serious for this job. It is your duty to get rid of them right away. Am I clear? I raised my eyes at him. He nods at me immediately.

Good. See to it that, I dont see their faces around here anymore I ordered and stalked off there without giving any chance to explain.

I heard the guards pleading voice but I could care less. I went downstairs and within few minutes I was out of the mansion. A car was waiting for me outside. I got in and the car drove towards my club. Marco had sent me the location. My driver Enzo is always on time and knew when and where to go. That is what I like about him, he makes the tasks much easier. Thats how quick he is.

We reached the club, The Rebels. The moment I took over the Italian Mafia under my wing, the first thing I changed was the clubs. I changed every rule and made sure everyone knows who is the boss. No one dares to defy my orders. It is final.

The bouncers greeted me at the entrance. I walked inside and saw that the party was in full swing. Some of our girls were entertaining the VIP guests while others were dancing at the pole and entertaining the audience.

Alice was walking near me, but the moment she saw my face, she thought better of it and changed her route.

Smart choice I muttered. Alice is the head around here of the girls and also my mistress if you could say that.

I took few turns and entered a dark hallway. This way is underground. No one knows that there is basement under this club. All the illegal activities take place here. My men were guarding the hallways, each one of them bowed to me in respect as I walked by them.

When Seth opened the door, I saw there was a man tied down to a chair. He was bleeding. Not enough damage done. At my entry, everyone froze on spot. Marco who was hitting the man, moved aside as I walked further inside the room. The whole room was dark except for the light streaming on the mans face. Rest of us were in darkness. I liked it that way.

I recognised him instantly. He was the manager of my clubs. He looked petrified as I directly walked towards the table where different weapons were laid out. I wore the demon face four finger ring. Once I walked towards the man, he looked scared. Marco was smirking at the man as I stood beside him.

Speak I say through gritted teeth. He did not open his mouth. Even though he looked scared he still decided to keep his mouth shut.

You are betraying us and giving information to our enemies I state through clenched teeth when he did not speak.

Care to explain I say as I walked in circles around him. The blades of my knuckle ring were shining.

What the f**k were you thinking I snapped. My voice came out hard and threatening.

Why would you send out our information? I growled menacingly. One thing they should know about me is that I dont like repeating myself.

Without wasting much time, I pulled my hand back and started punching him. His screams echoed in the basement. Good that this room was sound proof. Many of my men moved back in fear. Marco, get me the knife I growled angrily.

The man was barely able to look. Few of his teeth had come out. He was bleeding through the mouth as well. I took the knife from Marco. With one strike I cut off two of his fingers. There was blood everywhere. His cries echoed in the room.

I am done here I said and walked out of the room.

That bastard, make sure he is starved. But dont let him die yet. Not until he speaks I say to Marco.

You heard that says Marco to the men who will be guarding here.

Noted sir they say. With that, both of us carried down the hallway. We took the stairway and reached the corridor. We have our rooms here.

I need to change I muttered as I gave a disgusted look at the blood of the traitor.

Sure boss. I will meet you at the bar he says and excused himself. I entered the room and took a quick shower. I have set of clothes here in the club which always comes in handy whenever I am in need of them. Seth always makes sure to fill my wardrobe. Once I was done, I went downstairs and reached the main club. The party was in full swing.

Even though it was past one in the morning, people were still partying hard. I saw Marco sitting near the bar and flirting with the waitress. I shook my head at him and took a look around. I took my seat at the bar.

Get me a drink I say to the bartender.

I looked in the direction and saw two men were drunk and fighting. We did not need to go personally to stop it as the bouncers came soon enough. Five minutes passed but those **ers were not listening to them. I got up and walked towards them.

I caught the man by the collar Either you scram away or bear the consequences I muttered in a harsh tone.

I put my head down and gave him a menacing stare. He did not see it coming. My punch broke his nose. He cried like a baby. I smirked at him.

I had a feeling that things were going to turn out ugly if we dont control this now. I held the guy and pushed him towards the guards.

They cowered away in fear.

Get them out of here I ordered the bouncers.

You cannot throw us out. We are regular customers snaps the other guy as he was being dragged away by the bouncers. I ignored him as he was struggling to get free and walked towards the bar so that I can peacefully have a drink.

Watch out I hear a female voice. Suddenly I was pushed away and landed on the ground. On top of me was female. I could not see her face as she rolled of me and took a sharp knife. I watched with fascinated eyes as she threw the knife at the man and it struck him.

Suddenly chaos broke out as we heard a gunshot.

Its a setup I hear Marco saying. Few curses left my mouth. I got up and saw that people were running here and there. Soon enough my men came inside. I pulled out my revolver and started shooting. We took coverage behind a bar. As I was shooting, once again, I was pushed off. I groaned as the girl once again saved me. she held a gun and shot the guy at my right side. I was impressed by her.

She pulled me behind the counter.

What the hell I have gotten myself into? she muttered as bullets were firing here and there.

Indeed I muttered.

She narrowed her eyes at me it is all your fault she pointed an accusing finger at me.

I stared hard at her No one asked you to interfere I muttered darkly. She gave me a disbelieving look.

If I had not saved you, you would be dead by now she stated. We immediately ducked inside when a bullet flew above us

Before I could reply, I see a man was trying to shoot us. I aimed at him right away. He got down by one shot.

Glasses were scattered everywhere. When there was perfect silence, we slowly rose up.

I can manage she mutters and tries to walk past me. I held her hand.

I watched her as she stalked out of the club without even understanding the dangers, she has landed herself in. I let out a sigh.

Taken care of Boss he gives me a salute. He knows me too well. I nod at him.

Lets end the night then I say and turn to the bouncers.

Have this place cleaned up I instruct them.

With that, I and Marco turned around and walked towards the front door Appoint a new manager I say to him.

We have already appointed. He will be here early morning he informs me.

Good I nod at him in approval and get in my car. Seth was already waiting for me. We drove back towards the mansion and two cars followed suite.
